IPO bound BVG India now manages the world’s tallest statue
BVG India, one of India’s largest integrated services companies with over 54,000 employees across India, now operates and manages over 35 prominent sites in Gujarat including the world’s tallest statue, ‘The Statue of Unity’. BVG India offer a wide range of integrated services including soft services such as mechanized housekeeping, industrial housekeeping, manpower supply, security services and janitorial services, hard services such as electro-mechanical works and highway maintenance, and specialized services such as paint-shop cleaning and logistics management.
The company maintains the 182 meter high Statue of Unity with mechanized housekeeping operations. The company has also deployed 25 eco-friendly e-cars on the 146th birth anniversary of Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for tourist to commute within the 50 square kilometre campus of the monument.
BVG India is among the few companies to also service religious institutions in India. BVG India provides overall facility management and waste management for Dwarkadhish Temple. The temple is located in Dwarka city, which is one of the destinations of Char Dham, a Hindu pilgrimage circuit.
Educational institutes also provide ample opportunities for facility management companies. BVG has a strong foothold in the education sector and it has/had offered integrated facility management services to various educational institutions including prestigious institutions like IIM Ahmedabad. BVG also provides facility management services to various airports including some of the busiest airports in India. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad facility is also managed by BVG India. BVG also operates ambulances at the Ahmedabad airport for taking care of any emergency or casualty cases.
BVG has keen interest to be a major player in operation and maintenance of E-buses across India. BVG was awarded with the contract with Tata Motors Ltd under Ahmedabad Janmarg Limited, 100% subsidiary of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation for operation and maintenance of 60 e-buses through three routes in Ahmedabad.
BVG India executes facility management projects, mainly comprising gardening and landscaping services. The company has extensive capabilities in agriculture, horticulture, garden development and farm management.
In Fiscal 2021, the company serviced over 582 clients across 35+ sectors through the integrated services business, emergency response services and waste management services.
BVG is also taking effort in upgrading the skillsets of the rural staff working at these facilities. On job training is the integral part of the work routine to ensure best practices at the facilities.
Differentiated business & pricing model as well as robust financial track record has helped BVG gain largest market share in facility management with higher margins.
As part of its expansion plan, BVG is gearing up for an initial public offering, the DRHP has been filed on 30th September 2021 & the required approvals are in process.
