Suzlon be added to FTSE AW Index

In all eight Indian stocks could be added to the FTSE All-World Index in its semi-annual review in March, according to IIFL Alternative Research and Suzlon can be one of the candidate.

The likely candidates for the index inclusion are Phoenix Mills, Thermax, Suzlon Energy, Jindal Stainless, KPIT Technologies, Prestige Estates Projects, Mazagon Dock, and Rail Vikas Nigam, the brokerage said.

The likely inclusion could result in flows worth $318.8 million, said IIFL Alternative’s vice president Sriram Velayudhan. The changes in FTSE All-World and FTSE All Cap will be announced on February 16 and the adjustments will take place on March 15, the firm said.
