Chanakya IPO Review – Sharp Agricom Ltd.

Sharp Agricom Ltd., a Delhi-based agro-commodity company, has received BSE SME approval for its IPO of 55.87 lakh equity shares through a fresh issue. The IPO dates and price band will be announced soon.

The company is engaged in the manufacture of rice and the trading of various pulses such as Urad, Toor, Masoor and Kala Chana. It has recently diversified into imports and exports of agro commodities to expand its global presence.

Financially, Sharp Agricom reported a 78 % increase in revenue and an 84 % rise in PAT in FY 2025 over FY 2024, showing robust growth in both scale and profitability. ROE of 18 % and low debt/equity of 0.38 reflect sound capital efficiency. With strong management pedigree and expansion plans for automation and capacity addition, the issue appears well-positioned to capture India’s growing food demand cycle.

Chanakya View: A stable and expanding agro commodity business with consistent earnings growth and moderate gearing makes this IPO worthy of tracking. Investors should await price band announcement for valuation comfort before final decision.
